Industrial Emissions Directive
BAT conclusions for combustion installations set NOx and SO₂ limits by fuel type. In electric mode the boiler runs near zero. In biogas mode, NOx sits 40–60% below BAT thresholds.
Emissions Trading System
At current carbon prices (~70 EUR/tCO₂), a conventional gas boiler carries 12–15 EUR/t of steam in ETS costs alone. Our fuel mix cuts that exposure by 58% from year one.
Renewable Energy Directive
Certified biomass and biogas count toward the mandatory 1.6 percentage-point annual increase in renewable industrial heat. Most customer sites hit 2030 compliance on day one with our default fuel mix.
